Your AI future is being built on all your organisation has ever published, read by AI as current. The Gap Analysis measures how far that has drifted from who you are today, before more is built on it.
01What the Gap Analysis is for.
AI reads all your organisation has published and treats it as current. Where it is out of date, AI gets you wrong, and customers, investors and regulators act on it.
The Gap Analysis measures how far what AI reads of you has drifted from what you know of yourselves, across your primary website and up to 4 further sites. It shows where each site stands on the AI Readiness Maturity Scale™, which pages and documents cause the drift, and what to deal with first. Your marketing, digital, legal, risk and compliance teams agree those priorities in 1 session.
The measurement is the first step. The value comes from addressing what it shows: less digital debt, better AI readiness, and less misinformation about you in what AI says.
02What the debt is costing now.
Across 6,138 billion-dollar-plus companies, poor, unclear or outdated content carries a bill of $4.63 trillion a year, larger than the economy of Japan.1 It falls unevenly by country, and it is being paid now, before any AI project adds to it.
The bill is paid in people as well as money: a third of the content budget and 105 hours a week go on auditing, correcting and retiring what is already published. Spending more does not bring it down. The companies spending most on fixing report the most revenue affected; the ones least affected are those that can see all they have published and put resource where the hidden risk is greatest.
03Who takes part.
What AI says about an organisation is the concern of 5 teams: marketing, digital, legal, risk and compliance. Each sees a different part of it, and none sees the whole.
In the Gap Analysis the 5 teams are in the same room for 3 hours. They see the same results, and together they agree what matters most, what is not yet understood, and what is not for now. Because the decisions are made together and written down, the executive who owns AI knows where the organisation stands and can say so to the board.
04The 3 weeks.
From the measurement to the agreed priorities.
-
Us
Week 1: the measurement.
Your sites are read from outside, as AI reads them, and placed on the AI Readiness Maturity Scale™. Nothing is asked of your people.
-
Together
Week 2: the results.
The results presented, 1 hour, for your primary website, with the further sites summarised. You see where you stand, and why.
-
Together
Week 3: the priorities.
The working session, 3 hours, with the 5 teams. What to deal with first, what is not yet understood, and what is not for now, agreed and written down.
05Millions saved now, against hundreds of millions lost.
For a single company the report puts the revenue affected at $658.6 million a year, with a further $4.8 million a year spent fixing content.1 Beside that sits the cost no survey counts: AI misinformation about you, met first by the buyer, the investor or the regulator. A withdrawn medicine served as current; last year’s annual report answering as this year’s; a 2-year-old promotion reaching the regulator.2
The measure
Most of what AI gets wrong about you began with something you published.
79% of misinformation or misrepresentation has the organisation’s own online position as its root cause.3 Because the cause is yours, it can be addressed once it is known, and the money spent afterwards goes where it makes a difference.
AAAnow Research, Dec. 2023 to Jan. 2026; P&C (human misinformation) 2014 to 2023.
The Gap Analysis shows where that fixing budget, and the AI investment beside it, should go. Addressing what it shows saves millions in content spend and protects the hundreds of millions in revenue, because you know what AI reads of you before your market does.
06The AI advantage.
The companies most confident in their content are already ahead. Against the least confident, more of them exceed their financial targets, more report a strong return from AI, and fewer are held back by the friction between their systems.1
Most of a sector has not yet looked. Placed on the AI Readiness Maturity Scale™, a regulated sector shows 4% refusing the AI connection altogether and 83% in ACT, where AI struggles to read or ignores their content; 3% hold MONITOR.4
Knowing where you stand, you can set AI direction on what AI reads today, get more from the AI work already under way across the organisation, and address the gap while most of the sector has not yet measured theirs.
07Ready to go, and carried out for you.
You name the sites. We measure them from outside, as AI reads them, and bring you the results.
Your input
Which sites: your primary website and up to 4 further sites or micro sites. Where the primary website is larger, its sub-domains or key sections count. Then 2 sessions with the 5 teams.
Our work
The measurement, from outside, as AI reads it: each site placed on the AI Readiness Maturity Scale™, whether AI is let in at the digital doorway, and what holds readiness back, PDFs included. We write the report, present the results and run the working session in which the priorities are agreed.
The pace
Results in 3 weeks from the day the measurement starts.
The purchase
The published investment, paid by card to begin at once, without procurement lag. Pay by card and begin, or speak with us first.
Your people
The decisions, and nothing more: the 5 teams in the room, agreeing what to deal with first and what is in scope, and whether to move to AI Accelerator, where the changes are made with our guidance and review.
08What changes for you.
You know where you stand, website by website, against the sector, with the evidence. The board can say so to the investor, the insurer and the regulator. The 5 teams have agreed what to deal with first, so AI Accelerator starts without the decisions being reopened, and AI investment is directed by what AI reads today.
When the Gap Analysis is complete
You know where you stand, the 5 teams agree, the value is understood, and the decisions are made before anything more is built.
09Buying, and where other work belongs.
On its own
The Gap Analysis can be bought on its own, even by card. We then offer the AI Accelerator, or the 2 together at the start.
Beyond 5 sites
Each further group of a primary website and up to 4 sites has its own Gap Analysis.
1 stage at a time
Gap Analysis, then AI Accelerator, then AI Confidence.
Making the changes
AI Accelerator, the 6-week programme that addresses the priorities agreed here.
Landscape Discovery across further sites
Starts in AI Accelerator, continues in AI Confidence.
Ongoing monitoring and reporting
AI Confidence: diligence and oversight as the organisation advances and grows.
Content rules and audit trail
AI Governance module, optional, alongside AI Confidence.
