AI Confidence

What AI says about an organisation moves with what it publishes, and with how AI reads it. With AI Confidence watching your digital landscape, the board receives an independent report each month: what AI is saying, what has moved, and where you stand on the AI Readiness Maturity Scale™. Your board sees its position as the organisation advances, with independent evidence to show it.

AI Discovery establishes the position, AI Accelerator acts on it, and AI Confidence provides your ongoing oversight. A position is only as current as the last time it was checked: each month, the board sees where the organisation stands with AI, what has moved, and holds an independent record of both.

01Fit for AI visibility, as you grow.

With AI Confidence watching your digital landscape beyond the primary website, new content, retired content and changes in how AI reads it are brought to your attention. Each website that is to remain is brought to the standard set on the primary website. Secure Tag is used across all websites in scope, and your teams make the corrections with our guidance.

02Directors and officers: the record, each month.

The answer

Directors and officers should expect to be asked what the company knew and what the board oversaw. A monthly, independent record answers both.

Gallagher’s governance guide for directors, published in Aug. 2026, advises boards to expect investors, regulators, plaintiffs’ firms and insurers to ask what the company knew, who was responsible and what the board oversaw.1 An independent monthly report from outside answers those questions, and each report becomes part of the record.

Aon reports growing insurer interest in AI governance evidence within D&O underwriting, so the same record matters at renewal.2

03The monthly report.

Each month brings a report showing what AI is saying about the organisation, how misinformation exposure has moved, what has been corrected, and where it stands on the AI Readiness Maturity Scale™. It opens on your digital landscape, shows what has moved since last month, and goes down to the detail of each website.

Monthly summary

Illustrative radial view of 35 websites. Each spoke is a website; its dot marks the position on rings at 33%, 50%, 75% and 100%. Gold arrows mark the 11 websites that moved up since last month, with the gain beside each, and open circles mark the 9 that moved down.

Know your position, lead in AI.

Each month the board sees where it stands with AI.
That understanding is your advantage: decisions are made with confidence, and the evidence of oversight is likely to leave officers less exposed.

05Why now.

The issue ahead: pace

Organisations will rely ever more on AI for efficiency, and the value of that reliance depends on keeping pace with what AI reads.
External oversight keeps pace on 2 fronts: your visibility in AI as the organisation grows, and the application of your own brand and content governance rules.

Published information carries obligations, and AI now repeats that information to the people those obligations protect. Each obligation applies to content as it stands today, so the check has to run as continuously as the publishing.

The more AI-enabled an organisation becomes, the more of its decisions rest on what AI reads. An engineer checking a shutdown sequence and an analyst checking a reported figure both act on an answer drawn from published material, some of it years old.

So the question for the board is direct: who has oversight of what AI tells our people, and our customers, about us? Internal teams see the websites they run. Continuous external oversight is how the board keeps tabs on the rest, and shows that it did. The obligations that apply are set out in the detailed overview.

06Why us.

Over 25 years of unbiased, outside → in assessment of organisations sits behind this work, through the group that includes Sitemorse®, Privacy and Cookies, ARWELL and AAAtraq®. Because the view comes from outside, the report is independent, which is what a board, an investor and an insurer need it to be.

That capability operates at scale: 24 Digital Doorway agents examining AI access routes, and 207 AI Readiness bots performing up to 360,000 content reviews and checks, with the position measured and reported on the AI Readiness Maturity Scale™ each month.

07Your investment.

Built by hand, this view can take weeks of a team’s time to assemble, website by website, and it is often out of date by the time it reaches the board. AI Confidence is ready from the first month: an independent view of how AI sees the organisation, set against what the organisation knows of itself, with the priorities that will make the most difference.

With monitoring in place, the board can take the lead with regulators, investors and insurers, showing its oversight before it is asked. As AI grows, that is likely to leave directors and officers less exposed.

Adding a website

Each new website joins the service by adding Secure Tag, so the websites in scope can grow at any point in the year.

The 10% flex

An annual subscription carries a 10% flex: total monthly page views can run up to 10% above the top of the band, and the investment stays as it is.

Reviewed each quarter

If a quarter runs more than 10% above the band, the balance of the year is billed at the next band, so the investment keeps in proportion to the scale of use.

Worked examples

Within the flex

An organisation in the 1,000,000 to 2,500,000 band (£30,100 / $40,100 a month) has a flex up to 2,750,000 monthly page views. In the first quarter it adds 2 websites and reaches 2,700,000. The total stays within the flex, and the investment stays as it is for the year.

Above the flex

An organisation in the 100,000 to 500,000 band (£7,100 / $9,500 a month) has a flex up to 550,000 monthly page views. In the second quarter it adds 3 websites and reaches 600,000. The remaining 2 quarters are billed at the 500,000 to 1,000,000 band (£19,500 / $26,000 a month).

08Where it leads.

Once the digital estate is known and under control, the AI Governance module can be added as an optional capability alongside AI Confidence, invested in separately: the organisation’s own content rules, checked for as long as the content stays online, with alerts and a full audit trail.

For directors and officers, that record is the evidence. When a board, a regulator or an insurer asks what rule applied and what was done about it, the answer is already written down.

09Commonly asked questions.

What is AI Confidence?

The ongoing service that monitors the organisation’s position across its digital landscape and reports on it independently each month. It is the oversight and board reporting layer of the service line.

Who is it for?

Boards and executive teams that need to know, month by month, what AI says about the organisation, and to evidence it to investors and insurers. End clients and agencies can both buy AI Confidence, and the service provided is set.

Who makes the corrections?

Your teams. We guide the priorities for correction; you decide what is corrected, retained or retired.

How often do we see the position?

Monitoring is continuous. Each month brings a concise, independent report. We also provide a half-day workshop each quarter (online 3 hours).

Do we need AI Accelerator first?

AI Confidence can follow AI Accelerator or be bought on its own. Where it follows AI Accelerator, the organisation completes the remaining corrections over the first 3 to 6 months while the position is monitored.

What is Secure Tag?

An important part of the service, from understanding content activity and managing the PDFs on the websites to letting AI verify that what it is reading is your official information, in a form machines can read. In AI Confidence it is used across all websites in scope, and your technical team provides the resource to put it live.

How is a further website added?

By adding Secure Tag, at any point in the year; the investment follows the total monthly page views, as set out in Your investment. Where you would like help with a further website, AI Discovery is available as an option.

What follows?

The AI Governance module, an optional capability added alongside AI Confidence and invested in separately, once the digital estate is known and under control: the organisation’s own content rules, with alerts and a full audit trail.

Why do we report on 37 pages and 5 PDFs?

Because 37 pages and 5 PDFs is what an organisation can sensibly deal with week by week. The Secure Tag reads activity on your website, alongside the other information sources the system holds. Across your 128 to 139 priority or key pages, it weighs the value of each page, how often it is updated, its content and its position on the site. A value algorithm then maps the most important pages that need correction, taking account of the corrections each page needs. The calculation makes the most of what gets actioned, and why, so each action improves both what AI finds and says, and the experience of the people who visit.
