01Why this background matters.
Before leaders rely on a platform, they need to know whether the capability already exists or still has to be created. AAAnow’s capability comes from a system refined through operational use rather than assembled for a launch.
Today, Continuous Content Discovery and Mapping, known as CCDM, is the overall AAAnow Platform. ARTYMUS sits within its infrastructure; it is not another name for the Platform. The distinction matters because the schematic records the system during 2023, not the complete current CCDM architecture.
This makes AAAnow’s operating background concrete and open to scrutiny. It provides a dated architecture, named system responsibilities, daily operating volume, recorded availability and a documented network design. For a senior decision-maker, those are more useful than another description of what might eventually be built.
02The system recorded in 2023.
The original drawing remains unchanged because it is a dated record. It shows the AAAnow system as documented during 2023, including ARTYMUS, KRATOS, continuous protection, control, audit, claims and the parallel AI design then in operation.
The diagram is historical evidence, not a current architecture map. It shows the system in 2023, while CCDM names the overall AAAnow Platform today.
The AAAnow system schematic as documented in 2023: ARTYMUS content diagnostics engine, KRATOS security module, continuous protection with control, audit and claims, CP&A, CCP, parallel AI engines for image control and text recognition, page content control, asset management, panel and secure page code.ARTYMUS
ARTYMUS appears at the centre of the recorded system as its content diagnostics engine. First launched in 2023, it was then used as the AI Governance framework across AAAnow operations and as the point to which the surrounding components answered. Within the current Platform structure, ARTYMUS remains part of the infrastructure inside CCDM.
KRATOS
KRATOS is the security module shown alongside the system components. It governs access while keeping checks, claims and audit trails secure.
Continuous protection
The 2023 design records indexing, vendor checks, training and risk assessment as continuing activities. Control, audit and claims are held together, with content prioritisation, alerting and monitoring running throughout the system. The schematic therefore shows the operating relationships behind the checks, rather than presenting a collection of disconnected functions.
Parallel AI
2 AI engines ran side by side within the documented system: one for image control and one for text recognition. Both engines are recorded as remaining in ongoing training.
03Global infrastructure and resilience.
The supporting network spans 5 continents across its recorded locations. Those locations include California, New York, Germany, Manchester, Heathrow, Singapore and Johannesburg, together with an Australasian location identified as PRT.
Apart from California and PRT, each data centre is recorded as a secondary backup for the others. California, Heathrow and Singapore are marked as hot-swap locations within that network. The arrangement provides the operating system with geographic distribution together with documented backup and continuity provision.
04The operating record.
The infrastructure carries 5.5 million checks each day. Availability is recorded at 99.97% across the previous 90 days, 99.91% across the previous 3 years and 99.93% across the complete operating record.
Previous 90 days
Previous 3 years
Complete operating record
Daily volume
5.5 million checks each day across the infrastructure.
Client support
8.9 out of 10, averaged across 5 years.
Response times
Near-perfect performance against level I and level II response times. AAAnow does not claim 100%.
Client tenure
The proof sits with those who pay: the longest-standing client is over 20 years.
These figures belong here because they describe the operation behind the Platform, not a future service ambition.
05What the schematic establishes.
This page brings together two distinct forms of evidence. The unchanged schematic records the system’s structure during 2023, while the infrastructure material records the geographic footprint, processing volume, availability and support performance behind its operation.
Together, they explain the provenance of the current CCDM Platform without pretending that a historical diagram describes its complete architecture today. Leaders can see what was already operating, which components were responsible for security and processing, and what service record supports the wider Platform proposition.
06Commonly asked questions.
Is this already built, or are we buying a roadmap?
No roadmap. We would rather show you than tell you: place an order today and your first audit can run tomorrow.
We have been looking at digital landscapes from the outside, mapping where organisations are, for over 25 years, and our AI training started with over 3.7 trillion data points. The technology is all ours, and the 2023 schematic shows ARTYMUS, KRATOS and the 2 AI engines already running.
Whose technology actually runs the checks?
Ours. Our own technology, our programming, our code and our IP, and that is what makes it unique.
Our first platform, Sitemorse, still runs today. It began as one agent carrying roughly 2,000 checks and measures. The same work now runs across an infrastructure of agents and controllers, 207 bots and around 360,000 checks at a time.
Does our content get sent to public AI models, and is any of it kept?
We look at what is publicly accessible, which is what AI systems read anyway. We do not send anything to an AI that is not already open and available to it.
If you need closed networking, we deploy a dedicated secure cloud: infrastructure reserved to you, self-contained, with data in, data out, transmission and the people who handle it all under defined control.
Where will our data be processed?
Across 5 continents, at locations including California, New York, Germany, Manchester, Heathrow, Singapore, Johannesburg and an Australasian location we identify as PRT. AAAnow.ai Ltd is a UK company, registered in London.
What happens to our service if a data centre fails?
Apart from California and PRT, each of our data centres backs up the others, and California, Heathrow and Singapore are hot-swap locations. In 25 years of running infrastructure we have not lost a system or a data centre. Nothing is foolproof, though, and we do not claim 100%.
Can it cope with an estate the size of ours?
Yes, and we are already working at that order of scale. Brand auditing for a global marketplace client ran at close to 6 million pages a day. Our largest privacy deployment for regulatory control covered more than 6,500 sites. We have a track record of running large-scale infrastructure for genuinely global clients and global projects.
What availability and support performance can we hold you to?
Our performance against level I and level II support requirements is near perfect, and client support has averaged 8.9 out of 10 over 5 years. We do not claim 100%. Availability stands at 99.97% across the last 90 days, 99.91% across 3 years and 99.93% across the complete record.
The proof sits with those who pay: our longest-standing client is over 20 years. Specific service level agreements are as per our published documentation, supplied with the service guarantee and head of commercial agreement for clients on an ongoing subscription.
Who inside AAAnow can see our results?
Access is governed by KRATOS, our security module, which keeps checks, claims and audit trails secure. Access control is built into the architecture rather than written into a policy.
If a regulator asks how a finding was reached, can we show the trail?
Yes. The design holds control, audit and claims together, with indexing, vendor checks, training and risk assessment running as continuing activities. ARTYMUS was subsequently used as our AI Governance framework, so findings sit inside a governed and audited process.
The drawing is from 2023. What are we buying today?
2023 is where we started building this, and that is why we keep the drawing: it shows the background and the credibility behind what we run now. What you buy today is what we built then and have been testing ever since. Continuous Content Discovery and Mapping, known as CCDM, is our Platform today, with ARTYMUS inside its infrastructure.
Built before the present decision
What leaders see here is not a proposed architecture awaiting investment.
The schematic records a system that already existed in 2023, while the infrastructure figures show the operating context behind it. The current CCDM Platform carries that established background into the organisation’s present outside-in work.
