The Platform

The AAAnow Platform.

AAAnow examines what organisational information exists across the wider Digital Landscape, whether relevant AI routes can reach it, how prepared it is for AI and where it may be misunderstood.

01One continuing view.

Organisational information extends across current websites, historic content, project environments, publishing locations and relevant third-party material. Some locations may already be known to the central digital team; others may sit somewhere nobody has looked. Publication and human readability do not establish that relevant AI routes can reach the information or interpret it correctly.

Content and infrastructure continue to change, so the organisational environment never sits still. Discovery, access, readiness and potential misinterpretation require different evidence, although they belong to the same organisational position. CCDM keeps those questions within one continuing view.

02The 3 levels of detail.

The Platform provides its readings at 3 levels of detail. Each one answers a different question for the people who use it, and each builds on the one before.

  1. 01

    IN|SITE

    One-off, point in time

Where you start: AI readiness, misinformation exposure, and what AI can reach.

  2. 02

    OVER|SITE

    Ongoing

How the position moves over time, with significant change brought to attention.

  3. 03

    WORK|PACK

    Following on, for action

What to correct, in what order, why, and how to do it.

All 3 draw on the same readings, so the starting position, its movement and the work that follows can be read together, on the 2 questions that matter to the organisation: is it fit for AI visibility, and are its directors and officers becoming increasingly, and unnecessarily, exposed as AI grows?

03The 4 questions CCDM examines.

Landscape Discovery

What exists across the wider Digital Landscape?
Landscape Discovery establishes known and discoverable organisational information locations. Its scope can extend beyond properties already known to the central digital team, including historic, forgotten or unmanaged areas.

Digital Doorway

Can relevant AI routes reach important information?
Digital Doorway examines relevant AI access routes and identifies whether organisational information intended to be available can actually be reached. Its 24 agents provide an access position before deeper readiness or interpretation is considered.

AI Readiness

How prepared is the information environment for AI?
AI Readiness examines Foundations, Governance and Visibility as 3 connected modules within one organisational readiness position.

AI Misinformation Exposure

Where may information be missed or misunderstood?
AI Misinformation Exposure identifies where organisational information is more likely to be missed, misunderstood or inaccurately interpreted. It turns a general concern into an organisation-specific position that can support prioritisation while protecting AAAnow’s proprietary methodology.

04CCDM, the overall Platform.

Continuous Content Discovery and Mapping, known as CCDM, is the overall AAAnow Platform. ARTYMUS forms part of the wider infrastructure within it.

CCDM considers the infrastructure through which organisational information is created, published, exposed, accessed and maintained. It also considers the content environment formed by current, historic and relevant third-party material. Continuing discovery and mapping allow the wider position to be examined as both the content and its surrounding infrastructure change.

7 named capabilities address defined parts of that position: Landscape Discovery, Digital Doorway, AI Readiness, the AI Readiness Maturity Scale™, AI Misinformation Exposure, Secure Tag and PDF to HTML.

The Schematic page provides the Platform background, infrastructure and resilience material. Its supplied diagram remains unchanged and is identified as the system architecture recorded during 2023, with ARTYMUS shown inside the wider CCDM infrastructure.

05Commonly asked questions.

What is the AAAnow Platform?

It is Continuous Content Discovery and Mapping, or CCDM. We look at your information infrastructure and your content the way the outside world sees them, outside-in.

What does outside-in mean?

We look at the position anyone outside your organisation can see, which is not the same as the one your internal programmes and systems report. That view takes in current material, historic material, relevant third-party information and properties your central digital team may not know about. It sits alongside your internal AI work rather than replacing it.

Why look at infrastructure and content together?

Infrastructure is how your information gets created, published, exposed, accessed and maintained. Content is the material itself: current, historic and third-party. We look at both because either one can be the reason something cannot be reached, or is read the wrong way.

What does Landscape Discovery establish?

What is actually there, within an agreed scope: websites, sub-sites, project environments, publishing locations and the historic, forgotten or unmanaged corners. It settles what exists before benchmarking or continuing management begins. We do not claim exhaustive discovery across the open internet, and this is separate from Digital Landscape Benchmarking.

What does Digital Doorway look at?

Whether the information you intend people to find can actually be reached by AI. We run 24 agents across the relevant AI access routes to establish it.

How do you assess AI Discovery

With 207 bots carrying out up to 360,000 reviews across Foundations, Governance and Visibility. Those are 3 connected modules within one AI Readiness capability, and the position that comes out of it shows you what to improve first. It is reported through the AI Readiness Maturity Scale™.

What does the AI Readiness Maturity Scale™ add?

Context. A readiness position on its own is just a result; the scale tells you where you stand, and lets you compare or track it over time. It stays separate from Landscape Discovery and from the wider Digital Landscape benchmark.

What does AI Misinformation Exposure identify?

Where your information is most likely to be missed, misunderstood or read incorrectly. It turns a general worry into your own specific position, so the worst of it can be dealt with first. The method behind it remains ours and is not published here.

What does Secure Tag do?

It strengthens the information you want treated as authoritative, and helps you manage it inside the controlled AI-facing environment: verification, historic content, PDFs, machine-readable delivery, schema and robots controls.

Why is PDF to HTML part of the Platform?

Because a document that reads well to a person can still be unreadable to a machine. The work covers discovery, cataloguing, indexing, prioritisation and intelligent processing rather than conversion on its own: reading order, document structure and how a machine will interpret it, before any of it becomes machine-readable HTML. The link back to your original material is kept throughout.

One organisational position

Discovery, access, readiness and interpretation are not interchangeable conditions.

Together, they describe the wider organisational information position that CCDM examines as content and infrastructure change.
