How does AI Accelerator help organisations reduce
misinformation and hallucinations?

AI Accelerator shows an organisation what AI can find about it, and where that material is misread. Proprietary AI Misinformation Exposure analysis identifies where organisational information is missed, misunderstood or inaccurately interpreted across the Digital Landscape. That becomes a set of priorities. The organisation acts on them with AAAnow guidance, and weekly audit and review evidence how the position moves across the 45 days.

Ask AI about an organisation today and something happens that used to be impossible. The answer arrives assembled, confident and complete, and the person reading it has no reason to look further.

01The answer people receive is now the organisation

That answer is built from information AI can find, access and interpret. Where the material is current and clear, the answer reflects the organisation as it is. Where the material is outdated, contradictory or difficult for a machine to read, the answer carries those faults forward with the same confidence.

Gallagher found that 57% of respondents identified AI errors, misinformation and hallucinations as the leading perceived AI adoption risk. That position makes sense once the consequences are followed through.

57% of respondents identified AI errors, misinformation and hallucinations as the leading perceived AI adoption risk.

Gallagher.

Consider who is asking.

A prospective customer forms a view of capability before any conversation begins. An investor tests a claim made in a results presentation. A regulator examines what an organisation has stated publicly, and when. A graduate weighing 3 offers asks which employer to trust. Each receives an answer, and each acts on it. Few will check the source.

Credibility is judged on what is said about an organisation, not only on what it says about itself. AirOps found that 85% of brand mentions within its commercial AI discovery research came from external domains. The material shaping the answer sits well beyond the pages an organisation maintains with care.

02Where the exposure accumulates

Most misinformation begins as something that was once accurate.

A campaign site built for a product launch. A policy document superseded 2 years ago. Pricing from a previous structure, a services page for a business line since restructured, a PDF published for a conference and never withdrawn. The organisation moved on. The material remained available.

This is Digital Debt, and it accumulates through ordinary operation rather than neglect. Content was published for people, at a time when the only readers were people, and people understand context. A visitor seeing a 2019 date reads accordingly. A machine assembling an answer may not draw that distinction, and the superseded version competes with the current one on equal terms.

The mechanical dimension compounds it. Information presented clearly to a human reader does not always translate into reliable machine interpretation. A document may be visually immaculate and structurally unreadable. AAAnow research indicates PDF content can carry up to 1.8 times greater authority within AI interpretation, which places particular weight on documents where reading fails.

Then there is material an organisation never published. Third-party commentary, aggregated listings, and information positioned deliberately to mislead. Content poisoning describes the last of these, where inaccurate or malicious information is placed to distort how systems interpret an organisation.

03What the 45 days establish

Confidence requires a measured position rather than an assumption, so AI Accelerator begins by establishing what is there.

Digital Doorway uses 24 agents to examine relevant AI access routes, testing whether important organisational information can be reached through them. AI Readiness is then assessed across Foundations, Governance and Visibility, using 187 agents performing up to 360,000 checks, with the position reported on the AI Readiness Maturity Scale™. That measurement forms the baseline against which later movement is evidenced.

Proprietary AI Misinformation Exposure analysis sits alongside it, identifying where organisational information is missed, misunderstood or inaccurately interpreted. The organisation receives the position, the supporting findings and the priorities. The methodology behind the calculation remains protected.

The result is a working list rather than a general concern. Leadership sees where authoritative information is competing with outdated material, and where the competition currently favours the wrong version.

04Movement, evidenced

Findings alone change nothing, so the 45 days are built around action.

The organisation implements agreed improvements with AAAnow guidance, concentrated on the primary website as the authoritative source. Weekly audit and review sessions track those updates alongside Digital Landscape mapping, showing how the assessed position moves.

Prioritised machine-readable content work addresses documents where interpretation fails, with high-value PDFs discovered, catalogued and processed so the relationship with the original information is preserved. Priority follows organisational value, not volume.

Secure Tag is available subject to deployment, supporting authoritative organisational information and stronger control over AI-facing content within the controlled environment.

Beyond the primary website, mapping extends across the Digital Landscape and includes a top-level benchmark across up to 100 key organisational websites. Detailed work stays focused where it can be demonstrated. The benchmark supplies the breadth leadership needs when deciding what deserves attention next.

05Why it holds

Digital Debt accumulates continuously, so a single clearance would be a temporary result.

The workshops bring executives, senior management and digital leadership into the work together, because information foundations are not owned by one technical function. Teams map their own Digital Landscape, identify publishing routes and examine how future Digital Debt can be controlled. What they leave with is a shared understanding that publishing decisions now carry consequences for how the organisation is represented.

06What confidence rests on

The objective is mitigation rather than an unrealistic promise of absolute control. No organisation governs what every external source says about it.

What an organisation can hold is a measured position, evidence of movement, authoritative information strengthened where it matters most, and a leadership team that understands where the remaining exposure sits.

An executive asked at a board meeting what AI says about the organisation should have an answer grounded in measurement. After 45 days, that answer exists, and the position behind it is documented, prioritised and moving.

The AI Accelerator programme is set out in full on the AI Accelerator page, with what the 45 days deliver on the detail page.
